We’ll be back in October 2019!
At the heart of SuperPirates is a mission to inspire children to be the most awesome people they can be; at King Edward’s, our specialists will share their passions in theatre, dance, movement and self-expression. Our aim is to have fun and ignite imaginations; we believe that when children are inspired and motivated to learn, they will do so!
During this holiday club your children will be introduced to various forms of theatre & dance; each day we will split our time in between disciplines, ensuring that every child gets the most of our brilliant practitioners.
We want you to see your little stars shine; at the end of this special week, grown-ups are invited to see what we have been up to, the fruits of all our hard work!
We take our job seriously; we want each child to seriously have fun, seriously learn, and seriously be inspired by our industry professionals. If you already know SuperPirates then you’ll probably already know the workshop leaders.
If you’ve been with us before, we’d love to know what you think - give us feedback.
Xavier dancer and choreographer. He holds a first-class honours degree in Dance and has a wealth of experience collaborating in and leading various projects across Europe. He has a true passion for understanding the complexities that are our bodies! He explores movement and dance as an art that can both be strictly rehearsed, and abstractly improvised. He also received the Bath Spa Alumni Award in 2017 as one of the top five students in the university!
Amy is a drama teacher, drama workshop facilitator, performer, emerging theatre maker and foreign language teacher. She has a postgraduate masters degree with distinction in Theatre for Young Audiences and is absolutely passionate about working with children, teaching acting skills and making theatre both for and with them. She currently works as an EFL teacher and a freelance drama workshop leader.
Samuel is an actor, director and workshop facilitator. Having graduated with a first-class Acting BA (Hons) degree, sam has recently finished four continuous projects at the egg theatre, Bath, and Tobacco Factory Theatres, Bristol, as well as making his own work as a director that will be touring theatres in 2019. He also works as an actor, predominantly on stage, but can definitely give a tip-or-two about working in front of a camera.
Please note: this is not a SuperPirates ‘play’ based club. If your children prefer a free-range environment and aren’t so excited by the idea of learning skills in dance and theatre, please check out our other holiday clubs, which offer days full of never-ending playfulness!
Register and book
We have a new booking system! Now taking bookings for Easter and May half term.
Magic Booking is your new hub for managing your child’s clubs. You can register your children, book days, see your account history, see what’s due, make payments, cancel sessions and update children’s records. It’s all there for you to access; no need to wait for a reply from our busy team!
We’ll soon upload a user guide that’ll help you get to know the system (but it’s not too tricky we promise!).
You’ll need to create a new account for yourself, then add your kids, and then you can book sessions right up to the summer. You can either pay right away, set up a direct debit, or schedule voucher payments.
Happy clicking! We’re here to help.
