THE PLAN

We are building a programme of activities that supports the learning, play and sense of community for those not in full-time formal education in Frome. Launching 19th February - timetable to be announced.

Here’s just some of what to expect:

  • home ed hangouts; environments to play freely and socialise

  • DJ workshops and music production

  • theatre and dance

  • arts and crafts

  • construction activities (Lego, etc)

  • movement and fitness

  • comic book design (illustration, calligraphy and storytelling).

  • home / DIY skills

  • & more.

Our plan is to start with workshops and play sessions aimed at young people, but we’re also working on plans to support everyone in the community: a place for the dad that wants to learn how to crochet, the first time grandmother who wants to learn to DJ.

THE Awesome STUDIO

  • accessible by wheelchair

  • next door to Rye Bakery (coffee and snacks)

  • next door to Frome train station

  • full of funky tech

  • accommodates a whole class, or small groups.

  • free parking on site
